Applications Development Technology Analyst - Bilingual
Job Description
The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead application systems analysis and programming activities, demonstrating strong leadership and a proactive approach.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
- Resolve high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes, applying strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Provide expertise and advanced knowledge of applications programming, ensuring application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how business areas such as architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish goals.
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions, often working independently.
- Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and escalating issues transparently.
- Act proactively to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement within application development and team processes.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in Applications Development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications, with strong technical skills.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Excellent people management and mentoring skills.
- English Level: B2+/C1 (mandatory).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
